Mónica Moro, Chief Creative Officer, McCann Spain
Monica is one of the few women in the world who is head of creativity in an agency.
She was voted Spain’s Most Admired Creative in a poll of over 1,400 professionals in the sector. The first ever women in over 40 years.
She recently appeared in the FORBES 100 Most Creative People in Business.
Monica has been a jury member at numerous advertising festivals such as Cannes, Clio, London IA, One Show, El Ojo de Iberoamerica, New York Festival, FIAP, El Sol among others. She has won over two hundred awards at both national and international festivals, and her work is on display in the permanent collection at the Reina Sofia Contemporary Art Museum in Madrid.
Under her leadership, McCann is the most awarded agency in Spain in 2017.Perhaps that’s why it was voted Best Place to Work for two years in a row.
She has recently become a member of the International Board of the famed One Club for Creativity in New York. She is also part of the Creative Leadership Collective of McCann’s worldwide creative board, and VP of the Spanish Creative Circle (cdec).
She is a speaker at numerous events and teaches university and masters courses.
Monica has a degree in Advertising and P.R from Madrid’s Complutense University.
